Tai Chi is the perfect exercise for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. The health benefits are many and include increased energy, improved balance and flexibility; and generally feeling healthier and stronger.
Originating in China, Tai Chi is one of the best known methods of combining physical motion with mindfulness and is recognised as a highly effective approach to fitness. It is estimated that more than two hundred million people are currently practising it around the world and this number is ever increasing.
Many actions of Tai Chi are based on circular movements which together with subtle shifting of weight develops flexibility and extremely good balance, making it ideal for all ages. It is a graceful, slow moving exercise that works directly with one’s life force.
