Natural Science family workshop in Manor Woods

July 30 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Discover the hidden secrets of Manor Woods and become a nature detective!

Identify the flowers, trees from their leaves, become a bug hunter and name those butterflies, dragonflies and other bugs, build a dam and find out what creatures live in the Malago, build a woodland den and decorate it with a woodland theme. All these activities and many more are possible and available on your doorstep. Organised by members of the Malago Valley Conservation Group, this fun family learning (half) day has activities for all ages. Included in the entry fee will be a goody bag including copy of ‘My Manor Woods’ book and a take-home pack full of ideas for wildlife things to do in the garden and green spaces.

A free buffet lunch will also be provided back at Zion Communtiy Space (courtesy of Swansea University) and we will be discussing the use of energy in our homes with a fun last activity for the kids!

Meet at Zion Community Space at 10am before heading to Manor Woods, this event is part of Zion ‘Science Week’ supported by Heritage Lottery Fund.
